Curb Address Painting FAQs

Answers to the most common questions about painting curb address numbers in Los Angeles.

Pricing & scheduling

How much does curb address painting cost?

Pricing depends on how many curbs you need painted and the condition of each one, so we quote every job individually. Request a free quote and we’ll reply the same day. Projects with three or more curbs qualify for discounts.

How quickly will I hear back after I request a quote?

We respond to quote requests the same day. If you don’t see our reply, check your spam folder or email info@losangelescurbpainters.com.

How long does it take?

Most single-home requests are completed the same day once they’re booked. Larger HOA, apartment, and commercial projects are scheduled in coordinated visits or phases so every address is finished to the same standard.

Do I need to be home when you paint?

No. You don’t need to be home or prepare anything in advance. We handle prep, painting, and cleanup, and leave your curb clean and ready to read.

The painting

Why only black numbers on a white background?

Black on white is the highest-contrast combination, so it stays readable from a moving car in daylight and under headlights at night. We paint every curb the same way so addresses are consistent across a street, an HOA, or a whole property portfolio.

How long does the paint last?

We use durable, weather-resistant paint built for Los Angeles sun and rain. Curbs with heavy traffic or frequent street sweeping can wear sooner, and when numbers start to fade we can refresh them. See our guide to signs your curb needs repainting.

Is it okay to paint my address on the curb?

Painting a house number on the curb in front of your property is a common practice across Los Angeles. Some cities and HOAs have their own guidelines, so if you’re unsure, check with your HOA or city, or ask us when you request your quote.

Why does a painted curb number matter?

A clear curb number helps emergency responders, delivery drivers, rideshares, and guests find your property quickly, day or night. Read more in how curb numbers help emergency responders.
